Flashing a Non-Digital AS3 UHF to a Digital AS3 UHF?

Basicly I want to turn a Non Digital AS3 that i bought into digital.

How hard is it and also what is needed?

You have to have the host/dsp upgraded to support IMBE and then have the options you want flashed into it. Not too many people can do the host/dsp change. Good luck.

Your host needs to be higher then R04.00.00 and dsp needs to be higher then N / I 06.00.00 to support IMBE. (A or M DSP is analog only)

For the most part, your stuck with going to your local MSS and ordering the IMBE FLASHport upgrade kit.

This will run you about $600ish for the software and shop time for them to load the software into the radio. When this is done, the flash kit will upgrade your firmware.
