Hi people...
Have a lowband HT1250 reported read as follows:
M/N: "H25CEF9AA5" (showed exactly like this)
FIRMWARE VERSION: R05.01.00
Freq. Range: 35-50 MHz
This doesn't exactly correspond with the M/N chart from within BatLab's HT750/1250 et al. Portable Model # chart.
Any takers to verify what we have here?
Tnx,

what are the 2 letters before the H? those will tell us if it's even a ht1250. it could be a pro7150 or mtx960. if the first 2 numbers of the model numbers are not AA, it's not a ht1250.

Thanks for the help on this - I'll try to get the 1st 2 letter designation, however when it was read, the model number came up exactly as it is shown in the quotes.
If this is a 35-50 split, how far outside this rating can the unit be programmed? Would need it to go down to around 32 meg's if possible - sorry if this duplicates any previous discussions on the board - I'll try to drill a specific search (or I'll try to just have it programmed down to around 32 and see if it takes).
Thanks in advance for any additional help!

that's exactyl right, the band limits are stored in the firmware in the radio so you can't get it out of band at all. and that is how the model number shows up on the cps but you have to look at the number on the back of the radio.
