Dual Band Paging

Post by SafetyLighting »

Any pagers available that can recieve tones on both VHF and UHF?

I belong to a FD that operates on 153.950 and an Ambulance committee that pages on 475.7500. So it would be much better to have one pager instead of two.

No. Carry two pagers or a BC396 scanner in Fire Tone-out mode.

The BCD396t will only listen to one radio freq at a time.

yes, I looked at the BC396T and the Br330T because of the Fire Toneout feature, but that is the problem, they only monitor one freq at a time.

A pager that could do both would be bigger than wearing two pagers. You're basicly screwed.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
