Anyone wanna' fix a StarTac ST7897 that's been "Dropped

Post by Jaqx »

I have in front of me three pieces that when assembled make a ST7897 StarTac. :(

It was allegedly dropped. :-?

It will have to be recased and the flex btw the flip is torn.

If anyone's got a housing and a flex and would sit down and heal it up cheaper than sending it to the depot please let me know.

By the way, is the rate at the depot still $100.00

Anyway, thanks for looking and all help is appreciated.

Tks,

Duct Tape is like the Force.
It has a light side, and a dark side, and holds the universe together.

Haha, yes duct tape does hold the world together! Along with my tool box, the battery on my HT600, and once even a trailer I was hauling! My buddy and I were given for use by our scout troop, only problem it that it was a hook and pintle! Well he only had a ball hitch! So what do us scouts do in the middle of a farm? We violate all DOT and common sense rules! We wrap the heck out of it with duct tape, just enough to let it turn back and forth with the road. Thank god we only had to drive about 40 minutes on regular surface streets, be we got it home safely!
