Maxtrac B8

Post by n7ryy70 »

I have come across a Maxtrac model # D35MWA5GB8BK I am trying to program it to add some conventional 800 MHz repeater and simplex channels. It currently has a defunct Type 1 trunked system and a talkaround frequency. I am unable to read it using either the Maxtrac trunked or conventional sofware. Any suggestions????
Thanks

Also, "I am unable to read it " is insufficient to determine the problem.

Copy the exact error message you get and post that.

Usually that means the version of the software you're using is too early to know about the model number you have, or maybe the radio was made for a non-US market and requires a different program. They do that on some European models. B8 is an odd model number.
