What button allows programming the Soft ID on Astro Spectra

Ok I figured out how to program the soft id feature on the astro saber/xts3000, but what control head button will get me to the programming of the soft ID on the astro spectra?

Depending on the flashcode... I haven't seen much astro spectra being able to do soft ID at all except for one person had it once..... heck mine doesn't even do it....

You need the computer and RSS to change the soft-id on the Astro Spectra.

So you are not able to change it from the keypad like you can with a portable?

No.

there's no "menu" like there is on the portables either, and the display itself is very lacking, so even if it were possible, navigating to it would be a PITA in comparison.

But if enabled by the flash, and enabled in the RSS/CPS you can have a soft-id on an Astro Spectra, regardless of what was said prior.

I think mine either has my callsign or "JOSH BSE" or something silly like that.

Right, all mine astro portables and mobiles have soft id

I figured you could set it in a full keypad mobile W7/9) like you could in a portable. Guess that isn't the case and frankly that sucks but oh well. What can one do about it ----> Nothing. I'll just program it in the rss/cps I guess.

I haven't tried it but my guess it would work on a W3 however.
