How hard are they to replace ?

Nothing to it. Just use 2 small soldering irons to remove
the bad one. Heat both ends at the same time and flip it out of the way.
Set new one in place, hold down with a small probe, heat one end to
get even a small solder flow to hold the part, solder other end,
then go back and finish the tacked end. Viola ! done.
Doesnt have to be the surface mount fuse either. I have used
a fine piece of wire acress the pads, a pico fuse with the leads
curled under and other makeshifts. Hope this helps, Phrawg
