Not getting e-mail notifications from batlabs.com?
Starting Monday morning December 18 2006, I haven't gotten any e-mail notifications from batlabs.com regarding new posts to topics I'm watching OR for PMs sent to my inbox.
I had several PMs between myself and alex (admin) and never got any e-mail because of those. I only discovered their presence when I logged in to check them manually.
I just got some private e-mail from another batboard member and he too realized that it was awfully quiet Monday and he never got any e-mail notifications either.
I checked the settings in my Profile and all seems to be in order. Everything was normal on Sunday.
Anyone else having the same experience?

Do you have a spam filter set up? The email address from which the PM notifications are sent has apparently changed. They're now coming from noreply@batlabs.com instead of alex.
Hi Y'all,
I got an email reporting a PM around noon yesterday.. worked fine for me!

I haven't had a PM or Reply Notification in something like one or two weeks, i don't remember the last time i got one.
No spam filter here, either ISP or computer, and yet no notices.

I should be more specific.
How does your email get to your inbox? What front end server side stuff is between your pop/imap server before it gets there?
I know with a lot of the cable folks - there's a lot of filtering you can control through the webmail or other control panel that the ISP has setup - transparent to any other systems you may have at home.
There's very limited number of things I can do on my end to address this - since the email is working for the majority.
make sure that noreply@batlabs.com is added to your whitelists.

I had been getting messages from alex @ batlabs . com, through 11/25/06. Then it switched to noreply @ batlabs . com on 11/26/06. The last notification message I got was on 12/17/06. I might have gotten one or two PM notifications on 12/17/06, but I delete those.
I can't give you much more info. I'm using Outlook Express and talking to a Comcast mail server somewhere on this planet via standard POP/SMTP. I don't have any whitelist set up, and I don't think Comcast has a blacklist feature. Hopefully my antivirus software (Avast) isn't silently throwing stuff away; in the past it has immediately popped up warning messages about infected e-mails.
Comcast asked if you can check an error log at the sending end to see if the messages are getting bounced back.

I can't check the log - it's not my server.
Additionally, it's not a valid email address - noreply@batlabs.com - should clue any support person in to the chances of it being valid about .000000000000000000000001%.
I will see if the logs for the domain are available on a "domain" basis.

I just got an e-mail notification about a PM at 4:08pm. I don't know if ALL of the notifications are working, but at least I got one. First one in about 36 hours. Let's see if it keeps working.
