Quik Call 2 on HT1250

Is there a way thru RSS to keep an HT1250 audio muted until it receives proper Quik Call II tones?

Yes. There are a couple of steps.

First, under the signalling sub-menu, you have to set up a Quick-Call system with the appropriate tones.

Second, on the appropriate receive personality, under the Signaling tab, you have to select the system you created as the RX signaling system, and set the squelch type to "and".
