I found the data cables for the I5XX series of nextel cheapest on motorolas' Iden site. they come with the iden update package for $29.95, About $20 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. I'm ordering one, I hope they haven't switched the pinouts too much....

I'm pretty sure that cable is quite different then the ones used on the older iDen products. The i5xx series uses the new style connector thats the same as the newer cellphones use - v60, 270c, 120c, v66, P280

Yeah, I know. The cables for the 370/600 series are only $10 on ebay. This is the same one selling for $50 on yahoo. I also found system level rss for the i500 series for sale on the mot site. I wonder what's in there :')
