Saber or Astro Saber Lapel Mic/Programming Cable Screw

Post by bnn121 »

I have a part number for the Thumb Screw replacement for the Remote Speaker Mics or a programming cable for the Saber Astro Saber portables.

NTN5581 Thumbscrew for Standard Screw Replacement

My MOL shows that item as canceled.

Is anybody aware of a direct replacement for this thumb screw?

Or can somebody provide me with the part number of the standard screw?

Thanks for any help.

I'm just bumping this, just in case it was over looked.

I'm sure Motorola still makes a Remote Mic for the Saber and Astro Sabers. If anybody has one of these brand new still in the box, the paperwork that comes with it may have a parts breakdown of it. The thumb screw would be nice, but the regular Philips head machine screw will do also, the reason I'm asking is I have a saber and astro saber programming cable that are missing the screw to hold the connector to the radio during programming.

What radios do you own?: APX / Astro 25 / Harris

I robbed my thumbscrews from the RF adapters cables. Keep an eye out on ebay as they show up there.
