GE programming

Post by metro121 »

I know this is not Motorola related but here goes anyway.

I am trying to program a loband Orion with the GE Programmer.
I need to know if there is a way to program the radio out of band. I tried the "CONTRL E" method but it did not work.

Anybody have any ideas, thanks,

Ralph

Try using the insert key rather than the return key after entering the out of range frequency.

If you using the windows version of Programmer, there is not a "trick" that will allow you to go out of band. If you are using the earlier DOS version then the control E should work. :(
