Motorola XTS2500 Model 3 Post Key-UpTone

Post by p8ntcha0s »

Hello all,

My local squad is interested in programing a post key-up tone into their radios. There is an fire company in my area that uses it aswell, identical to what we are looking for. After the fire department is finished with their transmission, there is a quick sounding 5 beeps (as if someone was dialing really fast on a phone). I was wondering how this is configured in the programming. I have the software to make changes in the portables and i wanted to know if anyone here knew anything about this.

Thanks for all your help.

Sound like DTMF Post PTT ID. This is done in the DTMF config. I'm not too familer with the XTS software but look for DTMF and it should be under that.
