Minitor Pager 1 Channel to 2 Channel Mod Question
Can anyone tell me how to perform the 1 Channel to 2 Channel pager mod on the Minitor III/IV pagers? I have the latest pager programming software and a programmer, but have not be able to locate the procedure. Thanks.

To turn a 1 channel pager into a 2 channel pager:
read and save a codeplug (.dat file)
edit .dat file at offset 2CCh from 1 channel to 2 channel
load the new 2ch .dat file into the RSS and change the info you want for channel 2
re-save the .dat file
edit the .dat file back to 1 channel
load the .dat file back into the RSS and program the pager
The software will still think the pager is 1 channel, but the channel 2 info is still there, and gets programmed into the pager. You will be able to read and program the pager fine, but if you want to make changes to the channel 2 info, you will have to modify the .dat to allow the RSS to edit the fields ag
