Spectra A5 to A7

has anyone sucessfully converted a spectra from an A5 to an A7 and do you have a clear way of doing so? im looking to do it to a few of my radios i have the hardware to do it just looking for the procedure help please...

Fairly simple. And all you need is the A7 plastic and some time at the computer with LAB and you'll be good to go.

i got the model changed just fine, now the spectra is capable of mdc call right? do i have to add that in there some how by bit banging? or should it appear in the rss? or moflags? does anyone have the excel spreadsheet on the moflags or have some info to get me started with moflags? last thing do i have to use lab 04.04.00 or can i use 05.03.00 to do moflags with/

This is where you should tread carefully. But to start off with... what version is your MLM? Depending of the firmware revision you may not have the capability to have the MDC calling. Read through that page, and the main spectra pages to get that all sorted out.

If you get in a pinch I have a 6.15 CB and MLM in a static bag somewhere on a shelf.

I have some 6 ones and infact the one i have in the radio im playing with has one thats a 6.16, and if youd like to get rid of that one i might could use that, im changing my spectras around, is the procedure for changing NLMs that difficult? im still working on figuring out this moflag stuff
