XTS 2500 Display

Post by ajpritch »

I have a question in regards to the display on the XTS 2500.

I know that not all the parts are the same between the XTS 2500 and the XTS 2500i but I was wondering if the displays are and if it would be possiable to swap the two? If not would somebody be able to point me to the part number for the display for the XTS 2500i. My MOL account does not show the 2500i on there.

Also I noticed mention of different displays for different bands. Both of these are in the 700/800mhz band

Thanks

If your radio has old firmware, programming it with the latest CPS will not add any new features unless you have the latest firmware to match..

CPS = Customer Programming Software, Not CPS Software.

The "I" is the ruggedized version that has an immersible rating, hence the "I".. Kinda like an XTS5000"R"..
