CDM/HT1250 programming

Post by securitymikey »

I have been told that some radios can be programmed to go out of band like the Ht1000,XTS3000,etc. I have a HT1250 UHF "S split" that I would like to get down to 440 amatuer band. As of right now I have to use to use two different radios one for work and one for ham. Can this be done? One person told me that the CPS can be modified though I don't know anyone who has done it. Any info???

It hasn't been accomplished yet that I'm aware. Believe me you aren't the first person to want this. It sucks.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
