I'm getting my feet wet and having some difficulty in getting my radio to scan, I've setup a scan group and enable a key on the head but no joy. Is scan normally incorporated in the radio or is it a flash enabled feature? BTW using CPS.

You now need to apply a scan list to a personality.

Then the radio will scan.

It sounds like you've completed the other two steps of creating a scan list and filling it up, as well as configuring a button.

I think I've done all the steps; I created the scan list, select a button in the head setup and wrote the new info to the radio with no errors; still no scan.

Did you associate the scan list to a conventional or trunked personality? You know, like Josh already suggested once?

I hadn't set the scan group in the personality.
