Will the MTS2000 (Model III Radio H01WCH4PW1CN 896-941) program on 927.5 Simplex?

It's a roll of the dice and there is no way of telling in advance. You can modify CPS to allow programming of 927.5, but the VCO may or may not lock.

If you are unable to TX on 927.5 you MAY be able to correct it. You can edit the VCO values in LAB RSS, but if you have firmware 5.42 or higher it will most likely disable your radio with a 01/93 error. Anyway check out this post here if needed.

For your info the 'best' MTS2000 I have for 900 MHz is a Model III.
