I have a few MC3000 installed in our communication room at the office and a bunch of guys are complaining about having to pick up the handset and talk or press the button on the unit as we have them mounted on the wall, the best solution would be a mobile remote microphone but parts id has told me they do not make on that is capable of working with the MC3000, has anyone been successful with using a microphone of this type?
Thanks!

Tell 'em to deal with it and quit being lazy.

Re: MC3000
We have foot pedals and headsets plugged into the rear connections provided by the MC3000 and they work fine. I'd have to dig for the part numbers, but they do exist. I don't see why you couldn't use a Maxtrac/Pro series style desk mic as it also has an RJ45 connector, just extend the wire with CAT5. i wouldn't use a mobile mic, as you'd also need a hangup clip somewhere on the desk.

Re: MC3000
Feel free to peruse the catalog, there are numerous options available that will eliminate the need to pick up the handset.
Re: MC3000
I looked at the catalog, I'm thinking of putting the 2 prong PJ-7 headset jacks under the desktop and looking a a descent wireless headset with PTT to allow them the ease of other operations at the same time.
