Syntor X9000

Post by kd9000 »

Hi,
I'm using a couple of SX9000s. The radio and control heads have 8K EEProms.
The radios also have been upgraded to 128 mode.
In some radios I have programmed in 142 modes with no problem.
The control heads also display all the modes.
However, I can't scan more than 117 modes.
Has anyone overcome this problem?
If so, what does it take to accomplish this.

Thanks for any help,
Ken

Actually with the the 01-06707T52 U501 128 mode scan firmware and 8k chips, if you correctly program the scan list, the radio will scan up to 128 non-priority modes and in addition up to 2 priority modes. All of the 128 non-priority scan modes must be mode 128 or lower. Only the priority scan modes can go higher than mode 128. Unless you have the factory custom 128 mode RSS, your RSS must be hacked for more then 64 modes and you must make all the different mode scan lists operator select to go over 64 non-priority modes. Remember each mode must have its own scan list programmed.
