COM-120[abc] - software option
2975 - software option (IIRC, now shipped standard)
39xx - standard.
1200-S, 1200-Super
1600/1900
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.

I thought the difference between the 1200S and 1200 Super was the tracking generator. Maybe an option for the 1200S but was part of the package for the 1200 Super.

Also, it is standard on the 1500.

Right. The S has it as an option, the Super it's built in, IIRC. The 1200 isn't my baby so I could be wrong.
And I'd forgotten about the 1500.

Also: of the set above, I think the 120B's tracking generator is the most useful, having the offset frequency mode.

But since I am the one who put that feature in, I may be biased.

I don't know of any Moto monitors that had the TG built in... most all were options.

The HP8921 and 8924 (labeled cell-site test set) have a spec-an/TG built in by default.

I'm a fan of the 8924 due to cost vs. features. The suck thing is that you usually have to have it upgraded to a higher wattage handling capability and it's freakin huge and heavy. If you want a unit for a bench and don't want to spend thousands you can't beat one.

The R2600 series has the TG as an option originally, but now I think it's standard.

Also, there are some Cushman CE50's out there with the TG option. I used to have one and they are reasonably good boxes. They can be had for a fairly reasonable price if you shop around. Just need to be careful as all of them are getting rather "long in the tooth" and age is catching up with them. Some of the YIG oscillators are having age related issues and many of the CE50's I have seen have power supply problems.

Dave,

Shouldn't you send that down here for a little burn-in time
before you start 'real' work with it? hehe
