Zetron 4010 Question

We ave a few Zetron 4010 in our dispatch center. We recently added a new tone remote board with audio delay. Since setting the audio delay to .5 seconds there is a noticeble hum whenever the the PTT button is depressed.

Its not the wiring to the console or the mic as we have disconnected both. The consoles are out of warranty so no help in calling Zetron. Anyone else notice this hum on their Zetrons?

Did you try removing the tone remote board and see if the hum goes away?

I have one console without the audio delay on the tone board and it works fine but the audio is clipped becasue they cannot wait to talk.

On the consoles that have the tone board with audio delay, if I disable the Mic Bus delay the noise goes away. It's very strange and annoying.
