If we are talking about the CP200 and family, yes absolutely, and there are some pretty vicious bugs out there. One bad one is the radio getting a corrupt codeplug when the battery voltage drops too low. It is especially pervasive with NiCD batteries as those have the lowest voltage threshold before they die. Motorola fixed it about 8 years ago and then reintroduced it in 2006 or 2007 when the PR400s were released.
