trbo list prices?
anyone have them by chance? In true government fashion, I'm told at 4:45 on a Friday to send in a proposal Monday to spend some remaining FY funds. I can't get our rep on the phone, and don't see anything on MOL, so I thought I would turn to some folks who might have the access.
Just looking for the single unit price on:
XPR-7550 - VHF
XPR-6550 - VHF
XPR-4550 - VHF highpower
XPR-5550 - VHF highpower
Just clarifying that the all these units with do both anaolg and trbo. Prices can be approximate, as long as they are the list and not with any kind of discount.

You can visit www.actioncommunications.com and they will give you list price and you can subtract 35% for sales price and you can also speak with Brian and he is a great guy to do business with.
Just a question,
Why do they have to be Motorola?
Vertex has the VXD 7 series which is made by Motorola for $100's cheaper and same great product.
Just a suggestion, I currently own both types and see no difference in performance. Or looks for that matter. Only significant difference is the accessory connection port (speaker mic, programming) the two are completely different.

Does VX support IPSC roaming? Enhanced encryption? QC2? Capacity/connect plus? 3rd party telemetry integration?Jbgrad07 wrote:You can visit http://www.actioncommunications.com and they will give you list price and you can subtract 35% for sales price and you can also speak with Brian and he is a great guy to do business with.

Re: trbo list prices?
Well, this IS a Motorola focused board, good place to ask Q's about Motorola product. Reading the OP's post, he probably was asked to price Motorola product, not find the cheapest. Having said that, it,s always good to know of other almost the same radios. Escomm pointed out several reasons why the Vertex would be $100's less.....Jbgrad07 wrote:You can visit http://www.actioncommunications.com and they will give you list price and you can subtract 35% for sales price and you can also speak with Brian and he is a great guy to do business with.

Re: trbo list prices?
Those CHEAP retail prices above are why some muni's are going Trbo instead of the $3k XTS.....
Re: trbo list prices?
