Repeater Interface cable

Post by moustache »

Brought one on ebay for two cdm 1250's. No instructions were included aside from one end goes in here and the other in there. Does anyone know how to make this cable work with two cdms with seperate antennas. I guess I am asking what the pins should be set to on each radio. yes we are licensed for repeater use... Any help is appreciated...

Receive Radio Wire color Function
Pins 7 and 9 BLACK Ground
Pin 8 GREEN RUS
Pin 11 WHITE RX filtered audio
Pin 13 RED RX switched 12 volts

Transmit Radio Wire color Function
Pin 7 and 9 BLACK Ground
Pin 2 BROWN Mic Hi
Pin 3 GREEN PTT

You have to program pin 8 to receive +PL, negative going. This is known as Receiver Un Squelched.
