MC1000 remote

Post by VSP5151 »

I searched this forum but didn't find this answer. How do you program a M MC1000 remote? specifically how do you change it from 2 wire to 4 wire? The one I have is the basic unit with minimum push buttons on it.

If you look in the MC1000 basic tone control deskset operator and installation manual # 6880309K75-O on page 2-10 you will find the answer. It is done by programming the deskset.

The manual can be downloaded from the MOL site if you have a Motorola account.

Thanks. Some references say that it can be programmed from the existing keys on the unit while other references suggest that software is needed.

From the manual it is simple to program using the keys on the front.
