The XTS lines portable radios will be cancelled as of November 30, 2013, with the last order entry date of October 31, 2013. APX series will replace the line.

Is this for all models of the XTS line or just certain models? Do you have an official memo that you can cut and paste?

So far just the XTS and XTL 5000. I can look for the official memo or hopefully someone else can beforehand.

Nothing announced. I expect we will need to see a new lower-tier P25 portable released before those are cancelled.

APX4000 fits price wise just a little higher than the XTS2500, there will be an APX4000lite but I don't recall the projected availability. If I recall it will cost a bit more than the XTS1500 but yet less than the 2500, I think around $2,000.

I believe I am getting the 4000 at around 2000 with a mediocre flashcode. Maybe 2100? Interested in the light. Would love to see something even more compact
