MTS 2000 CPS R01.13.00 further advice sought

Hi Forum I am in need of some advice as I have seen various postings of which conflict on the above subject.

I have in my collection 2 ex Police radios MTS 2000 flashport model H01RDD9PW1BN. they are functional but show no system after selftest. I have tried various RSS and CPS versions which all show a com port failure and un supported model.
can I please ask what kit is needed to read these radios and change the codeplug to that of 70cms 430 - 400 mhz here in the UK and if possible some guidance on the flashport technology and how to disable it?
