I have an MC3000 L3223A desktop console and no power supply. The connector jack is labeled DC 12V and appears to be some sort of mini-din connector. I don't have a working power supply to measure the voltage. Does anyone have the pinouts of the power connector, and do I need any connections other than 12v?
If my Googling is correct the part number for the MC3000 AC power supply is DDN6342A, but I'm not willing to pay anywhere near $200+ list price for one just to see if my MC3000 works or not! It'd be more convenient for me to run directly off 12v anyway.
Thanks!
Kevin

Re: MC3000 power connector pinouts
From the manual:
Here's info on the connector. http://www.mouser.com/catalog/supplier/ ... atalog.pdf Page 84.
The Motorola manual shows connector part# as KMDGHT-5S-B4S, but that would be a 5-pin connector.
Looking at the diagram, it's a 6-pin connector. Pins 7-9 are the mounting tabs.Connecting Power Supply
All power connections are made to the 9-pin mini-DIN connector PWR1 labeled 12V DC
on the back right-hand side of the bottom housing. The power source must supply
between 10.5 and 16 volts dc and 0.5 amperes per deskset.
