cross band vehicle repeater

i have a mobile vhf radio and a cross band repeater that operates on uhf. What type of mobile antenna do I need to put on my vehicle for proper reception and transmit

OH, here we go again, This has been hashed to death on RR already.

Answer: A "vehicle repeater" requires TWO antennas.

You ***COULD*** use a VHF/UHF diplexer and a dual band antenna as long as the diplexer and the antenna cover the frequency ranges you are using. You have more flexibility using separate antennas though....
