HT1250 Delete Personality

Post by BMedcom »

I am trying to delete a couple of channels aka "personalities." I am looking for step by step on how to do this, as under personalities there is no option to delete them, but I can delete them under zone assignment, but then it gives me error messages about fields being invalid, and the invalid fields is all French to me.

Step 1: Go to the personality you want to delete.
Step 2: Click on the little red X on the bottom row of the personality window.
Step 3: Next.

Re. the invalid fields, delete the personality and then remove it from the zone list.

Depending on the software version (not sure if it works in all versions), you can double click on the listing in the all invalid field's screen, and it will take you to the invalid information so you can correct it. You will have to resolve all of the invalid fields before you can save the file or write the radio. It can be a pain.

Some places that you can run into an invalid field by deleting a channel are in scan lists, zone assignments, home channels, data revert channels, emergency revert, and probably others.
