MOTOROLA R2550A/HS service monitor
Is this a decent service monitor? I need one for ham radio stuff.

The R2550/2600 series service monitors are good.
Cost wise you're looking between $1000 to $4000 depending on what options the unit may have.
If you don't want to spend much money, look for the older series like an R2001 A/B/C or D.

Yeah I missed out it went for more than I had. I need one for maintaining the ham repeater and link radios etc. Hard to budget for equipment you want and family.
