VPN hardware suggestions for MOTOTRBO

Post by RFguy »

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for VPN hardware for backhauling the GPS data from a MTR3000 using the MOTOTRBO Network Interface Service (MNIS).

The link will be provided by the local internet provider (cable company) and we will have a static IP address at one end (possibly both ends).

Do I just use a couple of Cisco RV325's?

Is there something out there that people like that's easy to set up and reliable?

Thanks in advance.

RFGFuy,

Do not know if you found an answer for this, but if you are still looking, please see pfSense as a possible solution -

We use SoeKris hardware with pfSense. But the pfSense store now has some good prepackaged options.
