Hello Group,
I'm looking for Motorola documentation/manual on the MSF 5000 option C565
This is the internal RS-232 programming option board that sits on the riser pins of a TRN-9754A wildcard.
The board # for this option is TRN-9422A. I'm looking for original documentation or a PDF scan.
Also looking for a Station Access Module (SAM) board and a PURC 5000 advanced controller to play with if anyone has them available.
Thanks - Jeff

How much do you want to bet it's just a RIB mounted to a protoboard sitting on the riser pins. I've never seen such an option out in the wild. SAM boards were rare, DTMF control boards even more rare.
Re: MSF5000 documentation on RS-232 option C565
I have the board but need the schematic. It is just a RIB circuit on a board that sits on the riser pins but appears to do more.
It uses a 556 to generate the negative voltage and a MC-1458 dual op amp for the level shift/invert and another logic IC tied to address lines for ??
Plus lots of diodes, transistors, etc. It would not be impossible to reverse engineer the schematic, but very time consuming. May parts would need to be removed. I tried but gave up a few beers into it.
I still hoping someone would have the documentation or know the Motorola part # for it so I had an idea were to start looking.

Did you look at the MSF section on repeater-builder.com?

I have looked several times but tonight I looked again and there it was in the manual section in PDF download.
I cant believe I missed it.
Case Closed - Thanks!
