HMN4098 Handset extension for XPR5550 mobiles

I have a customer using XPR5550 mobiles and HMN4098 handsets. Several of the vehicles require an extension cable from the radio to the handset. no problem.. ordered up several PMKN4033 10ft mic extension cables... no good... even though all the pins are populated, there are only 5 connected so the handset does not work.

Does anyone know of an extension cable that does work? or compatible connectors so that we can make our own extension (I don't care about IP ratings of the connectors just as long as they work.

I can't use the rear accessory connector because it has the hands-free mic for the Emergency monitor.

Any ideas?
