What, if anything, is involved in programming these portables for DMR and conventional frequencies in the 2 meter, 440 and 902 MHz bands? Several years ago I programmed my 5550 and as I recall there was nothing I needed to do to get it to accept frequencies in the 440-450 MHz range?
Thanks and 73,

The UHF (6550) works fine in the ham bands by default. I have a ton of stuff programmed into the two I have.

VHF, & UHF, no problem. Straight up program the radio. But for 902, you’ll have to hex edit the CPS. GARY.
