Aeroflex 3500a RSSI and Freq Domain Failed Diags

Post by des »

Hi!

I recently got an Aeroflex 3500a, and ran the diagnostics and had the RSSI and Frequency domain diags fail. Has anyone seen this as a calibration issue, or an actual faulty part in the 3500a? The service manual only points to the multi-function pcb assy for both issues.

Thanks!

Fixed it! In the Rx cal editor settings, the normalize (dB) was set to +33dB, i set it to 11dB and that cleared up both failures. I will look at getting it calibrated properly in the future.
