Guys, really. Will the real person who is "PCX 1812" please come forward and tell us all it was a farce. We all got a ton of laughs out of it, and we are all ready to feel stupid for repsponding, so please... I'm starting to think it might be one of the moderators... nah, who is it though. This is not for real. You did real good btw, had lots of people here fooled.

And there's nothing wrong with being an erotic dancer. I can really shake my thang. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, EK didn't you lose it with him on the first go-round with me trying to calm you down and then you agreed and then I said, no you're right because by that time I had lost it? Now everyone else has lost their tempers. hehe.

i was researching until i got stuck and i was being polite but some of them just say stuff to stirr up stuff and you know whats funny is i see alot of them that post here in other threads doing the same thing to other people.

pissing them off and all kinds of stuff. i should contact the moderator and give him all the names of who cant keep unexpected comments to them self and off the boards.

all i did was ask for help i was lost. you guys made it a big deal

I AM GOING TO CONTACT THE MODS AND LET THEM KNOW WHATS BEEN HAPPENING WITH THE LIST OF NAMES I GOT AND POST IDS AND GIVE IT TO THEM SO THEY CAN SEE FOR THEM SELFS SO THEY CAN SEE HOW YOU GUYS ACT

The moderator's here are pretty good about separating the fly sh!t from the pepper.

I believe that they will do their job just fine with or without your input, thank you.

Holy freaking hell. I was too busy at work today to even stop in on the board and I missed all of this until now. This is the funniest freaking thing I have read in weeks. After the bombing we had, this is a great stress reliever....

PCX, you are digging this really deep hole whenever you speak. Perhaps I can give you a few pointers....

Caps Lock. Turn it off and LEAVE IT THE HELL OFF!!!! You don't need it, ever. Get a butter knife and pry the key off your keyboard.

Multiple posts. There is an edit button for each of your posts. If some new brilliant thought hits you 10 seconds after you post, you can simply edit and add it. There is no need to make six freaking seperate postings in a row within 30 seconds. All it does is bog everything down.

I'm sure the moderators are laughing silently just as much as the rest of the membership is here. However, you are more than welcome to forward all of our names to the Batoard Gestapo just incase they can not read this thread for themselves.

And in closing... 60Hz... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. I almost ruined my computer when I spit my soda out laughing so hard. I can't believe I missed all this today. LOLOLOLOL

Ok... I've stayed away long enough...

We don't want to see you equipment!!!

Obviously you need to call Motorola parts hotline.... In order for your non-standard 60 Hz PL to work you need to get the universal business adapter for your repeater Part number is dck69812

After that is installed your repeater will only function on that specific PL... Oh and just to make sure that it is working in optimal condition you need to set all your soft pot values to 100...

seems ht750 radios dont work good with non standard tones so i am useing basic ones now.

hearing that their is alot of problems with those radios when you try to modify somethings expecially the pl tone

my maxtrac 300 high signalling supports the pl

Our problem is generally caused by extreme boredom and lots of time on our hands.....

yeah i decided i wasnt going to use the non standard pl and use regular pl codes.

i found 2 freq in the 462.xxx and 467.xxxx not inuse and if i hear anything its a little kishhhhh for a sec then thats it.

so i should be ok with a standar pl

i need to get a pl recorder just in case though somone trys keying up my reppeater even though i would here it on my radios i would be on the radio all the time anyways but to record their pl and then ill know dont use that pl. or pls activated

I dont recall having any problems as in loosing my temper with pcx or you for that matter or your posting in telling me to calm down as such.

I do recall seeing one of your posts pertaining to MURS freqs and following in the next sentence you stated that you felt that 464.500 i believe it was as a possible MURS freq to be added to MUSR feqs.

And since its not a MURS nor is it a VHF freq that MURS is actualy in=I simply stated so to keep the others from misunderstanding the post.

But its possible i missed the post your refering to and im asking that you post it here for me to read as i dont remember it but would like to see the post your refering to.

And im not calling anyones kettle black = I just thought it odd that youd pick on his signature when he didnt bother to do so with yours.

I too just got back for the day from work and seen the 60.0 hz non standard as an option and well i about fell out of my chair knowing full well 120 volts / 60 hertz or cycles was going to for sure lock up the repeaters pl at 60.0 hz.

Im not sure where everyone has gotten the idea that non standard pl tones will not work period when they do if you understand the harmonics as to being able to produce falsing on standard pls and avoiding them.

i do have a good friend who has many towes in gmrs and cell towers pageing towers and he gave me those acurate freqs and is well knowen on the batlabs

As far as MURS goes. Let me clarify this for you 1 more time.

I think the FCC will create a radio serice like MURS which is incurrently VHF, you are correct, and make it a UHF license free zone in addition to the one in VHF. Since they did it with the color dots on VHF, then they will likely do it on UHF. In my opinion that is. And in all likelyhood. Maybe they will call it MURS, maybe they will not. Maybe they will call it SHMURS. Maybe they will delicense GMRS. I forgot how this came up or why, but that's all I was saying. Oh I remember now. I was telling him to wait if he didn't have the money (because he was bitching about having spent $300 on something) then wait a while, save up and maybe by that time, you will have a citizens band in UHF, although he would be better off in VHF.

I happen to know that other licensed GMRS users like that kind of language a lot!

The importance of having messages like this are purely for entertainment. If there was no entertainment on this board, only technical questions, then the most advanced users (who seem to have avoided this thread altogether) have something to look at besides boring questions all the time.
