Syntor X 9000 Scan

I have a couple of SX 9000s that have been converted to 128 mode. I can program scan capability into all modes. That means I can receive into all programmed modes, HOWEVER, if I am in modes 118 thru 128 and push the SCAN button, the display shows BLANK LIST. :(

If I am in any other programmed mode and push scan, it will again receive into ALL modes including 118 thru 128.

Anyone know how to obtain scan from ALL 128 (or more) modes?

I have tried replacing the 28C64s with 28C256s, but that doesn't help.
