I've got two A7 Maratracs that I'm having problems getting programmed correctly. Everything works fine except, when a non-priority mode is active and the microphone is removed from the grounded holder it doesn't go to the priority mode. It stays on the active mode, a'la "talkback scan." I've tried several re-programming attempts with scan configurations. There doesn't seem to be a programming option for talkback scan. I've got some other A7 Maratrac's in service that perform properly. I've tried to clone these two from others, the clone takes, but it still stays on the non-priority active mode. I'm wondering if there is a mechanical solution, a model difference or if I'm just missing something. All help is appreciated

There are different versions of software and eprom. Sounds like you have the newer eprom, older software, and someone before you set up the RX and TX hangtime (thats the weird way the Maratrac does scan talkback). If from the Main Menu, you hit F4,F2,F7 (scan options) you don't see rx and tx hangtime on the right, you need newer software (ver 4.03.00).
DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ANY VERSION OF SOFTWARE/EPROM HAS NUISANCE DELETE???

Yes, yes, yes. That worked just fine. I reduced the RX & TX hangtime to 0. The radios now function exactly like I need them to.

Thanks very much
