Looks like the same form factor to me. Also, does it really need new programming cables? TT

Wow, talk about stripped down. Even the side accessory cover is an option.

Oh thats what I was thinking... I looked at my Motorola online account and there's no mention of the new radio, just the new CPS.

Same charger and uses same accessories (no PS speaker/mic), but I wonder if its the same case? of have they changed the case to make it less durable?

Different cable just to make you buy another cable to keep track of! GRRRRRRRRRR!

But if it works like a 6350, I have alot of small industrial/commercial/municipalities that just want PTT and digital and the price point should work.

The XPR6100 is not IP57 rated, so it may be the case that it's not as sealed/rugged. I suspect the guts are the same, just reduced functionality

My guess is this is related to the revised accessory connector (no PS mic) more than them trying to sell a new cable.

My guess would be the cable is the PMKN4115A, incredibly cheap. I have been unable to confirm.
