MTR3000 channel issue

I don't think I missed anything in the programming but I have a 4 channel base and have programmed the console for the proper tones and even a MC2500 remote in the same building. It will not change channels at all. Keys on all 4 function tones sent to it but only keys on the first channel. IBLOST

Have you tried switching between TRC7 and TRC15 in the wireline settings in CPS?

Yes unfortunately. Do I have to make a Zone per channel? Cuz I know in the XPR only the first channel is usable.

Did you set the GPIO pins for the wireline to use? The 3000 W/L is a strange device.

There is a firmware upgrade for the MTR3k wireline on MOL that you might wanna try (according to our resident MTR3k expert).

Did you ever resolve your problem? I fought this issue for a few hours until Motorola finally was able to come up with the correct gpio programming matrix.

Also I believe F3 in the MTR3000 is NOT 1350 Hz but rather 1750 Hz. Had me chasing my tail for awhile.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I have two brand new MTR3000's sitting here that I cannot get to key. My first concern is that they don't have wireline boards in center cage. I asked the RSS to include wireline when we ordered. They told me it was built in and didn't need cards. I have all of the basic settings for 2WA set up, but no dice. Our older MTR2000's work just fine with the same setup. So, do I need a card or not?

Thanks,

Yep! Thanks! Right after posting that, I found the document CD and went through the detailed service manual to find out. :o
