XTS3000 - TX Audio Settings - Motorola Bulletin Error!!!!

Post by g8tzl2004 »

I've been experimenting with the TX audio settings on my XTS3000.

There is a Motorola bulletin SRN1370 dated April 2002 which provides a table of "Factory Default vs Recommended" settings

However, the recommended settings in the table are WRONG. The correct settings are described correctly in the text but these have got reversed in the table ie. the Output and Total settings are reversed.

Of course I used the incorrect settings listed in the table and wondered why the TX audio was very low. I've also read comments from others about low audio.

The correct settings are:
Type: AGC
Output: 0
Total: +6
