I am running Windows XP and outlook express. I deleted an email from the deleted emails folder. Can I recover the email?

Possibly...it depends on your email settings within Outlook. There's a check box somewhere which tells it whether or not to leave a copies of any downloaded emails on the email server. So, if you access your email via webmail browser, you may find not only that email, but any others you've received on the account.
