Has anyone used the APX travel charger (RLN6434). I have the occasional need to charge a battery, but not enough to install a drop in charger.

Does the charger maintain the batteries' fuel gauge and # of times charged?

Motorola says "Charger Type: Non IMPRES" so I highly doubt it. The impres chargers are expensive for a reason. I keep a regular impres shoe charger in my large radio bag with adapters for Visar/KVL3K, TRBO, and APX. Lets me charge most anything with full impres support for the rare occasion I need to do so.
