XPR5550 Squelch Adjustment?

Post by n3hf »

Does anyone have knowledge on how to adjust the squelch threshold for a analog channel?

The normal setting in the utility menu still seems too tight, the radio has good receiver but the audio gets chopped up when the signal fades up & down.

There's nothing, I'm afraid :( I have the same issue (45W VHF.)

Tuner doesn't have any relevant options either.

what a drag ! - set the RX for 25kc if you can, it supposedly helps, ... i bought another new Amateur UHF 45w rig too for the same reason, problem is, its squelch is electronic too, and even on minimum, is tighter than i would prefer. bad :(
nothing in the xpr5550 CPS - except an option to make it tighter. sheesh. :(
