Am I correct in assuming that if I have an XTL5000 with a UCM in a 3-day carrier board, and I enable Infinite Key Retention in CPS, it will keep the keys until I manually erase them?

Just want clarify before I buy one.

That means if the radio loses power it will not dump the keys regardless of length of time. Upgrading firmware of the UCM may cause it to dump the keys regardless of key retention settings.
