The CRT in a 1200 is a vector display - an old school oscilloscope type screen, not a raster scan CRT like a display. To replace it with an LCD you would need to have a digitizer, a means to read the sweep speeds, a display controller, and the display - in effect you'd be embedding a digital storage scope into the hole the current analog scope module goes into.

We'd looked at that years ago, as the scope modules started to become hard to source, but the cost was too high to be economically viable as a product.
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.
