Assistance with QCII tones...

On our Centracom Gold Series console, our main fire dispatch tone shows up as FE6d , I would like to set up my personal HT1000 to activate upon these tones. I have tried to figure it out, all our other tones pan out, being all numbers, but I have been struggling with this one...Any help here would be greatly appreciated. (Maybe you can help me out Jay911???)

Thanks in advance,

Adam Merkert

For whatever reason I can't run my paging decoding program here at work. After I get home and have a rest I'll try it there...

I would really appreciate it, I have been driving myself nuts trying to figure it out (On top of already being nuts from working 3 years of midnights!)

Thanks

According to my little program, FE6D converts to:

A = 645.7
B = 1180.0

The problem is, these tones don't appear to be valid QCII tones, if you check the Batlabs pages.

You could plug them in, force them thru RSS (when it complains, because it probably will) and see if it works....

Hope you get it working....

Sounds like a nice little program. I have the Centracom Series II Pager Frequency Encoding program, but it wont get freqs from a console code, only the other way around :(

I got the program from someone either here or on trunkedradio.net. I've put it on an FTP site I use:

http://206.169.80.166/peebo/radio/paging.zip

The one I used is 'ccii.exe' which requires BASCOM.COM and BASRUN.EXE in order to work. Seems to work fine under Win2K here at home but under my city's NT4 OS at work, no joy.

Just unzip the whole package and run 'ccii'. It provides you with a menu, select (1) if you want to decipher Centracom into tones. Every one *I* have used has worked for my agency so far. :)

Thank you Jay911, those tones did work, I forced them in RSS, had dispatch test the tones, and it all worked perfectly, again I appreciate it.

Excellent! That is the program I have been looking for. The "pager" program is one that I have used at work for years when programming our radios and centracom consoles. Thanks very much Jason!

BTW, I have never been able to get "pager" to run under Win ME, but both seem to work fine under XP.

Same with me. I run Win2K at home, and it runs fine. I tried to run it at work the other night on NT4, and it said I couldn't run CCII as a child of BASIC.

Oh well. At least it works for you :)

FYI - Both are Plectron tones....

645.7 = JZ
1180 = P09

That would make sense, back in the day, we used Plectron stuff apparently.

Thanks

Anyone know where I can download the program to convert zetron codes to Plectron tones? paging.zip? ccii.exe?

I didn't realized I'd deleted the file off my FTP. I've reuploaded it to this URL:

I have been looking for info in regards to this and cannot find anything, perhaps there is someone out there that can help me.

I am looking to convert some Quick Call IIB codes to tones. I understand there are tables to guide me, but I get confused very quickly. These are the codes that I am looking for the A-B tones for:

#1 A27F
#2 1246
#3 1131
#4 1212
#5 09BF
#6 4FB7
#7 1242
#8 4152
#9 08FB

A27F = 2361.0 & 992.0
1246 = 707.2 & 788.5
1131 = 389.0 & 349.0
1212 = 600.9 & 634.5
09BF = 1082.0 & 992.0
4FB7 = 1082.0 & 2361.0
1242 = 707.2 & 634.5
4152 = 1285.8 & 634.5
08FB = 992.0 & 1082.0

Can anyone tell me where to find this program? If not, could you possibly convert the code 01DA

Thanks much!

Hi all,

I keep getting requests for this program. It's not mine, and that FTP server above is something I haven't used for years. I have found a copy of the file and it's on RapidShare at: http://rapidshare.com/files/385336477/Paging.zip.html

I would suggest that someone else grab it and host it so that it doesn't vanish again.

Unless the file is too large, have you considered to put it in the file section here on this site. The site your using
requires people to sign up and pay just to down load your file.

Click on "Free download" and it doesn't. It worked for me just now.

Too many people have downloaded it, so it's no longer available on RS. Anyone have an FTP server where they've put it?

I also need help with a QCII question. I want to set up a radio to monitor the following QCII pairs:

A : 953.7Hz / B : 399.8Hz

A : 953.7Hz / B : 569.1Hz

A : 953.7Hz / B : 600.9Hz

A : 953.7Hz / B : 953.7Hz

If I were to program one channel as:

A : 953.7Hz / B : 000.0Hz

Would that open up the receiver for all four QCII pairs?
